The 2021 Wagners ‘It’s a Bloke Thing Prostate Cancer Luncheon’ raised an amazing final tally of $201,965!

It was an exciting time to see the highly anticipated event return to Darwin for the fourth consecutive year. Over 250 people attended and helped raised funds to go towards Prostate Cancer care, research and education.

The event MC was Katie Woolf, our Chairman of the Darwin committee who is passionate about raising awareness since losing her dad to the disease. She spoke of her personal experiences, her passion and instilled the vision of growing awareness along with breaking down the walls and talking about men’s health for the sake of saving lives.

The success of the It’s a Bloke Thing Prostate Cancer Luncheon wouldn’t be possible without the continuous and valuable support from the attendees, community, volunteers and of course our sponsors.

Entertainment and key speakers included Shaun Hampson of the Australian Rules Football, Magician Matt Hollywood, IABT Chairman Marcus Barnard, Sky News Australia Journalist Matt Cunningham, Musician Owie Paroz and a few scaley, reptile friends from Crocosaurus Cove.

A great day was had by all and we are proud to showcase the event and the outstanding result from the Northern Territory.
